I ordered some poly mounts from johnsperformance.com about 3 days ago w/ my credit card and I got an e-mail from him as soon as I did (automated e-mail) saying thank you for the order but I keep checking my credit card status and he hasn't even billed it yet. Is he gone somewhere or is there something I don't know? Thanks.
 
He may be out of stock on them, but I'd touch base with him to see, (he's always been good about contacting me when there's a problem) that's a little strange.
 
I just ordered a bunch of stuff from him, first order, and the same thing occurred, got the email indicating the ordered was recieved, then 4 days later I got an email with the tracking info for my package. It arrived 7 days or so after I ordered it. Delivery might not be the fastest, but price was very good and I was not in any hurry so all worked out great.
 
Oh I am not worried about when he is sending it out. I am just wondering when he is gonna bill my c.c. cause so far he hasn't. :shrug: I was just curious if anyone else had this problem or maybe someone close knows him and he is on vacation or somethin.

:confused: I remember the days people complained when their credit cards were charged right away for things that took months to arrive or never arrived at all. Where have all the good times gone? Maybe you should try dealing with Southern Kustoms instead :rolleyes: Some people will complain about anything I guess :(

He's probably not going to bill your CC until it ships......
 
I'm not positive, but I think it is illegal to bill someone's credit card until an item ships. That is unless it is a special order part. I could be wrong. It has happened before.(ALOT) Either way, it is good practice.

You actually checked to see if your card was billed? Three days after having placed the order? I wouldn't even know how to do that.

You must be bored. Put that energy to good use. Maybe you ought to take a bus down to your local VA hospital and visit with some of the old guys...

Whoa guys, you got me all wrong here. I am not complaing at all about this. I am not upset about anything. All I was curious about was if he was real busy or if he was on vacation and I figured some of you on here might know him. Thats all. I am not looking to bitch about anything. Hell, a guy that made a site dedicated to 89 TTA'a and GN's deserves 2 thumbs up in my book because I would be stranded without guys like him with my swap. :) I'm not complaining about anything though ok? I was just curious if someone knew him and maybe he was on vacation or something or maybe he has been busy with stuff lately. I know a guy (Harlan) who is like that. He has a side business he runs off the net (Harlan Engineering, some of you may know him) and sometimes he gets to busy with real life stuff that and then gets behind in his orders. I am not upset if my order doesn't come for another 2 weeks. I am in no hurry. :) Sorry for the confusion. :)
(And I can check my credit card online in like 10 seconds. :) )
 
I talked to John today and he is having bad e-mail problems and is going to upgrade to cable internet soon. I figured it was something like that or he was just busy. He's a pretty cool guy. :)
