So I've installed this little unit in the car through the factory head unit, hooked up my Riovolt MP3/CD player, and the sound SUCKS, big time.
If I tune in the correct station, with no source playing, the sound is clear silence. As soon as there is a signal to modulate, there's a ton of FM background noise, almost as if I'm listening to a station too far away.
I've upped the signal level sensitivity in the unit, but no help. Am I expecting too much? The average local station sounds WAY better than this thing does.
