My lt has taken a crap, and will reboot over and over. Best I can tell, it has to do w/ some corrupted stuff that's been loaded on.
When attempting to get to safe mode to dump that crap, I toggle F8, will list my options. I choose "safe mode", hit enter.. The system still trys to boot up windows. It gets to the desktop, and then attempts a reboot, over and over.
Can't get to safe mode...[Been trying for at least 3 hrs]
How does one get there?? $hit can the HD, shoot the guy that I paid to upgrade and install some programs? Buy a new LT?
This is a Compaq Presario R3000 w/ added ram. It's about 5 yrs old, and been used very little.
NE ideas?????
