Yeah, I know another what's it worth

Looking at possibly picking up a 1985 T type. Car is a WH1? (if that's what they were called). It has the two tone grey paint job.

Body is in great shape with no dents or rust to speak of. Alabama car all it's life. Factory 8.5 rear, bucket seat, T top car.
Interior is in real nice shape. Not PERFECT, but nice.
Paint is good, again, not perfect but definently presentable.

The bad, motor is knocking bad. (rod, etc.)

With a good motor, this is a $4-5k car..

What would you think it's worth with a bad motor??

Figure about half of what it would be worth with a good motor... So I'd say $2-2.5K at most...

$500-$1k???I paid $800 for my old T Type.It was solid and running with an exhaust leak(cracked header)

If its solid,itd definetely bring some $$ in parts.Lemme know if you pass on it...

Damn that's cheap for a Ttype! I've seen some NA Regals selling for $1-1.5K down here...

There are plenty of NA Regals around here,just ride thru the inner city.

From what ive seen,$300 and up is the going price for a Regal thats pretty straight.

I say $1500 max...You'll have some time in an engine swap, not to mention the cash. Still waiting on my return phone call BTW....Has the engine been rebuilt before?

LOL yeah I still see a decent amount of G-bodies in the inner city down here (downtown Ft. Lauderdale and Miami of course)... Da homies love them a Regal on some dubs
