We had a Supra run a 9.00 at the track in Vegas over the weekend. We knew we were in for a treat when he came off the line and saw two chutes on the butt of the car. Mark

That's a stock block running 35+ pounds of boost. Wonder how many 9's Ryan is going to get away with before mr. motor goes South on him. We watched him run at Speedworld on 09/26/03. Ran a 9.98 (his first 9 second time slip) after being singled our and warned not to do it by the track safety director. He is now banned for life at Speedworld but he didn't give a damn after getting that 9 second slip. Looks like he turned the boost up to about 40 psi in Vegas.

He drives that thing way more than any other 9 second car I've seen. Especially when he was w/o his truck for a few weeks. I hate those cars. As soon as I get one I'll love them.

You should of seen the Las Vegas car run. 9.14 @149 against the the titan car in the final.

Dana, is the guy the owns it, and it is a loaded street car....air, ps pw windows everything still......the only sorta non streetable item is the th400, and he does it all himself for the most part.

The 9.14 was on bfg drag radials too.....at about 27psi...with a 74 turbo and 840 rwhp according to the dyno....

Damn the track is that strict that they'll ban you for life?

That is pretty crazy considering that the local track down here (Moroso) will throw guys out for going too fast without the proper safety equipment and tell them not to come back until they have it, but I've never seen them ban somebody for life!!! Is this an NHRA track or an IHRA track? IHRA tracks seem to be a little less strict when it comes to safety equipment from what I've seen......

BTW, guys I just saw on the Supra board that Ryan ran 9.74@145.2mph......... That is a badd mofo even if the motor is a time bomb
