Take the car to a certified appraiser and have it appraised. My '84 appraised for $25,000. The insurance company didn't bat an eye. Stated value is cheaper too.
I agree. Most wil never be able to tell. If you go to sell it and they complain about the year...on to the next buyer. Being that mine is an 85 and deemed less desireable, I dont want to hear any whining when I put a turbo LS motor in it!
just grab a Regal v6 coupe? I think to do that you need the v6 trans from an F body or S10? the one that bolts up to the 2.8/3.1 and 3800 engines.... heck I'm looking at a $400 v6 Regal.....if that aint cheap, i dont know what is
Just like a 69 z/28 without the original block is worthless now!! As these cars keep getting crashed and parted, in the future a grand national will be hard to find anyway. If you want it buy it!
