Z06 MAF Sensor and BuickGN MAF Pipe Question

I think I saw on here that the Z06 MAF will work with the 3.5 Inch LS1 Tube, but it requires a little bit of work. I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Mark, do you know anything about this?

I have the 3.5 Inch MAF Pipe and a Big Mouth Cold Air Kit. I have been using a Granatelli LS1 MAF, but as many warned me after the fact, I don't think it's working anymore.

Try using an X-Acto Knife, or small extremely sharp blade, gently scrape off the coils on the sensing wires. Crude will bake onto them, and not always will brake cleaner get that off.

Thanks Bruce, I'll give that a try. I had heard that the Granatelli didn't work quite right with our cars, but only after I had bought one. I think I have maxed it out because I have bucking now. I want to try the Z06, but I don't know if it will work with my setup.
