Now you really have my interest. I didn't think of running the up-pipe on the top of the engine. I was going to try to find some way to run it below. looking forward to the pictures

    MegaSquirt & 4.1 motor

I've made a post or two about it, and nobody seems to have really tried it on a TR. I'm still considering fabbing up an adapter so that I can plug it directly into my stock harness just to see if I like it. If you give it a try, please post your results so that we can see them.

    TT setup?

Ok, guys below if the kind of setup I am considering, but not dead set on. http://www.turbomustangs.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=16096 Now, I don't plan on having side exhit or anything like that one, it's just an example. The mustang guys don't appear to have anywhere near the room...

    TT setup?

Well, if I ever do it. It won't start until August at the earliest, I'll be sure to post with my progress. If you give it a shot, you should do so as well.

    TT setup?

I have plans to do this for pipe routing, and to have the tb on the pressure side. I still think it will be difficult though. I would say having a hot-air buick is nearly rare enough. I'm a very practical person, and I like to do things for a purpose. I figured that most people purchased...

    TT setup?

Honestly, you are going to go faster cheaper with the single setup. Saying this, I am considering flipping some shorties and makeing my turbo a front mount. I don't think it's a good way to do things, and I probably wont really end up doing it.

    Powdercoating systems?

harbor freight sells a kit for 60 dollars. I have heard a few decent things about it, but have no personal experience with it. Maybe someone can chime in. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=42802

    injector size question

Whoa, don't know what I was smoking I meant to say that some guys make it to high 12s on all the stock stuff.

    injector size question

gnttype says they are good to mid 11s, and 480 horses max. I like to be conservative, so lets call it around 410ish and 12 even. Some people have done close to this with stock Ic, turbo and injectors. I would say there is a good chance that you could push the fuel system with that 33. Do you...

84/85 to 86/87 ECM conversion question...

    2. Yes, it needs to be a later model chip 3. That would be my reccomendation. 4. Lots of people start out with trasher chips because they are cheap, people all have thier favorite burner.

    New hotair intakes underway!

Actually, if there was one reason to use the stock hot-air turbo it would be back to back testing. If you guys would test a stock intake and your new intake back to back with no other mods I would be very impressed. I do realize that this kind of test would drastically limit the benefits of your...

    New hotair intakes underway!

I wouldn't think alot to be honest if the stocker is your limiting factor, and I think it might be. It should get out of its effeciency range pretty fast to be honest. I would be much happier to see the test done with an intercooled turbo. You can get the for 100-150, and they flow nearly double...

    Aftermarket crossover

Nor do I, but I bet you could make some if you really needed to.

    what's the difference between '86 and '87 GN's????

Yep, the hot-air guys get little to no respect for the most part. This leads alot of them to have a fanatics view of no intercoolers and such. I thinK I might do my next psych paper on this board.

    Aftermarket crossover

Maybe you could make some thicker gaskets for your crossover?

    Is it worth it?

I would personally take inventory of all the things you are going to have to do and see if your hot-air is that much cheaper.

    Is it worth it?

Thats a question thats gonna be hard to answer. These cars dont really have a stock like most other cars. no, our stock is a little bit more fuzzy. I think they were right around 15 something bone stock, $20 mod stock they could probably run a low 14 fairly easy.

    500 hp

I've always heard that the mustang dynos are 15-20 percent less than other styles as well. Could be true, but might not be.
