Does the pcv have a metering device?

Oil is like Salmon. It goes everywhere you don't want it. Sorry, right track on wrong car. Your right with that, the oil in just the intake (EDIT: UNDER BOOST) couldn't be from the PCV as was pointed out the flow is the opposite direction. My mind slipped to other PCV discussions I've had...

Does the pcv have a metering device?

Why not? Most PCV valves will leak boost through. I've tested many, and most will leak back by just blowing through it. A pcv valve is designed to meter the air recovered from the crankcase in proportion to engine vacuum. If it didn't, more vapor would be recovered at high vacuum than it...

How much are the gn garret's?

You must mean MY listing on ebay! I looked alot of the info on wheel sizes etc and couldn't find any stock info. I'm sure someone knows but its been asked a few times with no real info. I'll have to call one of the turbo rebuilders and ask them. Chris

    Powertrax locker review

I wouldn't say that they over exaggerate it. I tried one in my truck and it sounded like I was going up a roller coaster any time I made a slight turn. So I would venture to say that some are louder than others, but better to overexaggerate it and it be quiter than be diappointed with noise!

Ramchargers Fan is actually MOPAR FAN!!!

I'm pretty sure its from the newer Concordes/intrepids. 1998 and up.

Ramchargers Fan is actually MOPAR FAN!!!

Re: model years? Jobber cost on the fans from MOPAR is over $350. 98 to Current (i believe) Chrysler Concord/Intrepid (i'm sure they have a body style designation) and similar cars. I "think" the 03 may be different but I'm not sure. Not that it should matter. I doubt you could get a used...

Ok, I'm bored and thinkin (dangerous combination)

Removing the "weather stripping" may be a bad idea. I haven't experimented with these cars but other cars it can cause overheating problems. Here's why. As you are tooling on down the road, the windshield is pushing air out of the way. This creates a high pressure area in front of the...

Rebuild or hire out front suspension?

What kind of compressor do you use? The clamshell type won't fit in there and the one that goes inside doesn't seem very safe. Neither does using a couple of large prybars though.

    What if Carfax is wrong?

I agree. Carfax isn't the national DMV credit bureau for cars. The national DMV system is really no up to where it could be, and carfax attempts to bridge that problem. Carfax can clue you into a problem, but shouldn't be used as the end all of buying a car. I had a truck, and had 3 collegues...

Rebuild or hire out front suspension?

If you say so. What do you normally use to get the springs back in? Most of the other things i have figured out pretty well, but always have a b- of a time with the stock springs.

Quick caliper question - Pepboys any good?

Its harder and harder to stay away from A1 as everyone is using them. Its very possilble A1 does the Napa caliper and the Pep boys one. But in the case of these calipers cheaper is better.

Hydroboost brakes - what to look for?

I haven't seen a lot of failures on hydroboost cars. Probably the only thing I could suggest would be a leaking booster section.

WHAT THE F*#@. Went down to one gasket and still cant get atr crossover clamps on!!!

Get different v band clamps. A higher quality calmp with t-bolts and slotted v bands with a seperate clamping band on the outside will work much better. Aside from that, on some systems they will go on with one or two gaskets on others you can barely get it with no gaskets. Truth be, if you...
