Indy 500 Time Trials & the Buick Stage 2
BFD, comprehend how hard it was for Buick to get their stage 2 V6 to turn 7500-8000 rpm, WOT for 4 hours at 27lbs of boost 40 years ago, it was a major accomplishment getting as far as they did. A couple more years of development...... NRE is not doing anything new.- hemi8

Mid-Plate
Does anyone sell mid-plates for the GN? I was searching the site and it looks like TA Performance used to make one but it doesn't look like they make it anymore. Anyone know of a vendor or have a drawing they could share? Mike- hemi8

TA Aluminum block leaking oil?
4 hrs later: I drove the car yesterday after installing a new Stefs oil pan, oil was gushing out, sprayed the underside of the chassis real good...............but none was coming from the oil pan. If this hasn't already been labeled as a sticky for the love of Christ make it one. For...- hemi8

I read post 7 and that link shows what to do pretty well. I can see on my stage 2 front cover it’s designed differently down the entire driver’s side (lots of surface area to apply pressure to the gasket). Dang, I knew I should have gone with a gear drive and belt driven oil pump. So one more...- hemi8

I have been slowly going insane trying to figure out why, after multiple oil pan gaskets/oil pan/front cover seal replacements, this professionally built engine constantly pukes oil. Not the motor mounts, the frame mounts. I have a stage 2 engine and HRParts motor mounts and the engine sits too high. In order to get the trans. at the proper driveline angle (3 degrees down) my driveshaft is about 1/8" from the floor right past the trans u-joint. So as it sits I cannot get...- hemi8

Stainless headers, give them a call, they can send you mock-up pieces so you can design something that works, lock it in place and send the mock-ups to them and they will build the headers. I have had this done for my downpipes a few years ago and it worked out great. They were very reasonable...- hemi8
