I got a handle on this today, it appears what I have is a Asain Warner trans out of a 99 Cherokee and I have a Grand Cherokee. I thank you for your answers.

I just purchased a used trans for my 98 grand Cherokee , in checking it out I discovered it was`nt a 42Re but a 43Re, can somebody tell me what is the difference and will it work in my application. thanks.

77 Cruiser, how much did that mod change your shift points? what size are those holes? assusming your using bfr spring.I need to do the same thing.

Well looks like I`m still going to school on this transmission, I now have reverse but as I was doing pressure checks I noticed that pressure in lo range was 150 at approx 1000 rpm, in about 10 seconds running it started dropping to 50, I now have 50 in manual 1 & 2. Every thing else is up to...

OK I found it, everything is starting to make sense, guess I should read the manual a few more times. Only thing I hav`ent figured out is low max D2 pressure, any thoughts on this? Thanks again :D
