    86-87 coil pack

I have had my 84 for years and it has always had a late coil pack. It has always been my understanding that it was simply plugged into the stock wiring with the elaborate adapter visible where it plugs in. The bracket is cobbled in some manner (one bolt is missing and not used IIRC) and I had...

    Looking to buy first handgun

I had a Hi-Point for a few weeks they get a lot of bad mouthing and negativity but really work well. Cheap and fun ,mine out shot and was more reliable than my sons Bersa with hollow points. I traded it for a small block chevy ,LOL.

    I haven't touched my 84 with a wrench in 3 years !

I do hate the look of the torn seat covers but had the exact thought novaderrik shared. May as well do them later to not have to worry about them getting dirty. The car is a peg leg so first thing is going to be a locker. I have never been able to spool it up and truly see how it would take off...

    I haven't touched my 84 with a wrench in 3 years !

The thing is pretty darn reliable ! We do a couple cruise nights a year, the local car show and the odd summer drive here and there, 600 miles maybe in the time span. This year, being an 84,it can go to Iola old car show (a BIG deal in Wisconsin) and my sons wedding that is vintage/automobilia...

you don't have enough Brains to be taken seriously. Do you think before you post or just randomly call people liars? To compare apples to apples one has to compare cars of the same age Einstien . the camaros would have been roughly the same age in the 80's (when you were failing grade...

Do buick and olds distributors interchange

Wisconsin I will give you a buick 455 dist. if you can pick it up. Olds and buick 455s have little (nothing) in common. I think you can buy headers for the combo if you have $500 or thereabouts. BB buick cast manifolds flow pretty well ,just use those.

    Please stop parting out cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My .02 Not rare at all ????? there were just over 7000 1968 z28s manufactured those are not being parted out regularly. 2000 is the number usually cited for 84 GNs that would be much more rare than a 68z28. The number of TRs that have never been all "fouled" up with various mods will...

    White intake manifold...

In the process of a Heavy detail on my motor I've noticed that someone has painted the intake and steel heater hoses white. I am assuming this is not factory. Also the heavy steel bracket that the heater hoses attach to as well as the support bracket that hooks it to the intake plenum are...
