Because the idiot light oil pressure switch is also a secondary path for the fuel pump voltage. If the fuel pump relay were to fail the oil pressure switch will close at about 4psi and apply voltage to the fuel pump allowing the car to start. Matt

That's a picture of my old dash. It's an applique that I had made, it was attached over just a clear plastic lense. I still have the applique if your interested. It does have one small break in the upper left corner where the idiot lights are. Probably not noticable when installed. Matt

Had the mechanical one in my GNX style cluster go bad and now switching to an electronic one. :( What pulse per mile did you use when calibrating the speedo. I know the stock VSS is converting it to 2000 ppm for the ecm but what does the speedo need to be accurate? is it 1000 ppm ??? TIA Matt

Not in a GN If this is for a GN / TType those won't fit without some serious modification to the car. Our cars use a DIN + 1/2 size where as the new cars use DBL DIN. Matt

Did you use any teflon tape or thread sealer? VDO is very specific about not using any type of thread sealer, as the sender unit needs direct contact to the block for a good ground. Also make sure if you used a tee there is none on there either. HTH Matt

X2 Boosters are NOT supposed to be used with a lap belt only. I drive alot in Mass and the law there says anyone under 4'9" or under age 8 must be in a booster. Had a whole big discussion about a year ago with a State Trooper about this because one of my kids (the smaller one) has to ride up...

TruDesign TruDesign did the wheels years ago, long before Brian started doing his. Just an FYI, mine aren't the GTA wheels, mine were made by Rikken. Looks real similar until you put the two next to each other and you will see the difference. Matt

Check out the pics in my gallery. Rears are 3 1/2" bs with 255/50/16 and front are 4 1/8" bs with 245/50/16. True GNX have -23 offset rears which i believe equates to about 3 7/16" bs and fronts are -15 which equates to about 3 15/16" bs. so mine are pretty close, alot closer than GTA wheels at...
