I just bought a 3"SS down pipe for my stock 93 Typhoon The whole exhaust is bad so I'm replacing with 3" SS. I was wondering if I ran it without a cat but put a muffler on it would my stock turbo be ok or do I need to adjust something. I heard I might over spool the turbo.

Does anyone know if these are still being made I would like to replace my whole exhaust with 3" SS pipe from the turbo to the tailpipe with a new muffler. Also if I replace this exhaust without a converter will the turbo be ok without the back pressure it needs to spool up.

Nothing in the instructions about a pin. Checked the gauge I don't see anything pin like. I will call tomorrow and talk to Auto Meter

I just got my Auto Meter Gauge (boost/vacuum)in the mail and I was wonder if the gauge should be reading 0 out of the box. Mine is reading 7 vacuum not hooked up. I was wondering if this is normal or if this one is broken and I should get a new one before I install it.

I just got my Auto Meter Boost Gauge and out of the box it is reading 7 vac. I have not installed it. Shouldn't it be reading 0. Just wondering if anyone knows before I install and find out it is broken.

Do you think you can help me get onto the Syty site or know someone that can help me get on?

I have been lucky so far!!! Knock on wood. It has been on jack stands for 4 months. I have been replacing anything that was rubber on it, it was all dry rotted. I just started driving it. It only has 22,000 miles on it. It was stored for 18 years.

I'm looking for someone near Chicago/Ohare that can work on performance upgrades on a 93 typhoon. 3" down pipe, chip upgrade, injectors, fuel pump, heads and cam. Also I was wondering if anyone lives near that would like to meet up and talk trucks.
