I replaced the relay and it still does it.

I am having the same problem with my car. But mine will stay on till the battery is dead. My question is will the coolant temp. sensor be bad and keep the fan on too after shut down?

Take a look at my thread. there is a good run down on what kills fuel pumps and what a "hotwire kit does for you in the thread. My personal opinion is if you are not getting everything possible out of the $$$ you just spent on an aftermarket fuel pump then you just wasted your $$$$...

I checked my fp and it is at 41# line off. I would think over 50 is alittle high at idle, line off.

Sweet, a little reassurance is what I needed. I didn't think it was the hot wire but I was pretty skeptical on the new pump. I want to make sure everything is ready to go when I go to the track for the first time later this spring.
