I am wiring my fuel pump controller and i need 0-12v tach signal for it.
Tach signal in gauge cluster is 0-5v.

Is there somewhere 0-12v signal wich i can use???

Thanks!
JP

You can make this with some parts from your local radio shack; a 2N2222A transistor, 1/4 watt 1000-ohm and 1/4 watt 5000-ohm resistors. All is needed are some simple soldering and project fab skills. Get a little plastic project box to put it all inside, and a small circuit board to put components on. The base of the transistor goes to one end of the 5K resistor, the other end of the 5k goes to the 0-5v tach signal. The emitter of the trans goes to ground. The trans collector goes to one end of the 1k resistor - this is also the output for the 12v signal. The other end of the 1k goes to battery voltage.
