Just curious, what are you guys seeing in 0-60 times, I am really just asking for sh!ts and giggles.

I was tracking time on the FAST and found I am running a 0-60 of around 5.5 seconds on 10 lbs boost and 17 degrees timing from 4k up through 5k.

my 1/8 times were 6.62 at 108, so that broke down to about a 2.2sec 0-60 time  ..

nordy that link to 60 breakdown isnt very accurate but still very nice 1/8 mile mph , it cant calculate what a larger turbo left at lower boost like 8psi will loose in the bottom before it hits target boost or what a small turbo with quick spool will do.

from my sig
going by directscan logs ,
87 TA 49 , 1.579 60' ,4.649 330, 7.27 @ 94mph
0-60mph 2.92 (calc shows 2.96)

87 stock turbo 1.78 60' , 4.80 330 , 7.559 @88.67
0-60mph 3.29 (calc shows 3.46 )

86 3440# 1.522 60' , 4.317 330 , 6.69 @ 103.16
0-60 2.58 , calc shows it should have been 2.27 ,

this was an older file of run in sig 6.69 103.13 1/8th ,4,317 330 , had slow spool due to cracks in manifolds
i have a faster recent pass with a 1.44 60 4.27 330 but dont have that file on this PC

My 1/8 time was from my best 1/4 pass.. it was a 11 pound launch off the trans brake, with a 1.42 60ft...

G-teched with slicks 2.6sec on a 10psi launch. 3.1 sec with drag radials launching at 6psi. 6.7@102.9mph in the eighth.

Im suprised you only picked up 21mph from eighth to quarter.

I will do some additional research, but I notice you guys use the 60 ft times as a reference point. I have never been to the strip. Can someone please disect the what the 60 ft times tell them an dhow?

Thanks!!!

Its the only real accurate indicator of traction until the beam is broken at the sixty ft mark. Low sixty foots and big horsepower equal very quick 0-60's. Some cars break the 60' beam with their rear tires .

0 to 60

my best time using a vector 2 was 4.15sec. . stock engine, turbo, big neck inter., 60lb inj., 3" postons dp, razorsalky, rjc plate and boost controller, turbotweak chip and 255-50-16 mt et street radials. 22lbs of boost and 23degrees of timing. since i have run out of alcohol now boost has been turned down to 18, commander chip installed , timing at 19degrees and 0 to 60 is 4.7 sec. .

Sorry for ignorance but what I imagine is the starting line sitting where the nose of the car is. 60 feet out is an imaginary line with an infared beam. Once the beam is broken this is the 60 foot time. Ahh I get it now, so these cars are on two wheels only. Holy smoke.

Thats what im saying  Actually the timer starts when the beam at the starting line is no longer interrupted. 60' when the front or rear tires interrupt it. This is why its best to shallow stage your car and have a transbrake or brakes worthy of holding the car still as you build boost to attain the quickest ET possible.
