04 z71 shock suggestions

Don't get a whole lot of info using google. I'm sure I'm not the only one herewith a z71 so what shocks are you guys putting on to replace those junk tennecos that break? I know you can't beat bilstein but it's just way too much money right now.

Have you checked evilbay for a set of Bilsteins Jesse. Seems that the lowest prices on them are over there.

Don't go with Edelbrocks on the Z71. I switched and now my truck rides more like a Cadillac and is way too soft. Shock warehouse is a great place to buy. Search the net for their discount codes.

Yeah they do have good prices but I just can't spend over 250 for bilsteins. I'm leaning toward the monroe reflex but I can't find anyone that has used them yet.

Take a look at the Gabriel Max control shocks Jesse. Those may be more what you're looking for.
