I'm shootin' for 125+ this year with 93 and alky. Have a fresh rebuild in the car and it seems to run very strong. Going to the track tomorrow to see what it does.

It wasn't to be today. Only got 2 runs in today. On the first run, the knock gauge lit up red at 70 MPH so I immediately let out of the throttle. Resulted in a 12.0 @ 99 MPH. Second run I cranked the old-school SMC kit up to 7.5 (out of 10). It didn't knock until 85 MPH that time, but I had to let out immediately. 11.4 @ 110 MPH.

There may have been a 10-second pass in either of those runs. Even letting up when I did, I ran a 7.4 @ 95 and a 7.1 @ 96 in the 1/8th.

I don't think a 10-second pass with 93 and alky is in the cards with this old kit I have.

Street cars can't have aftermarket fuel management?

hell ya they can if ya can't make a chip work :p 45*s here today .. Melissa DROVE her car to the beach :cool:

Should be able to drive that car anywhere if you trust the 20+ year old ECM!

aftermarket ecm in mine as well but i had other reasons for putting it in that did not pertain to not knowing how to get a stock ECM to work

MT 275/60/15 drag radials. Big mouth cold air with an AFE air filter. The times above were done with out these parts.
