First thing you should do is hide your car keys under your mattress next to those dirty books your hiding and don't think your parents know about. Next, start here. http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/threads/info-for-new-turbo-regal-owners.380856/
Read, read and read more. What state do you live in? Get with Turbo Buick people in your area. Use the search function here. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you can't find the answer. We are here to help. We just don't want to see you drive over your crank shaft.:)

Welcome to the site and happy spooling.

Well actually, we've got bets going on right now as to how long you, and a few other newbys, make it before you pop at least the head gasket but I don't think the DOTC club has been bet on yet.;)

I live in eastern kentucky. My dad taught me everything he knows as he has been drag racing since he was little but we have never messed around with any type of turbo car. We actually own 4 buicks right now the 86 grandnational,an 86 rolling parts car, a 84 t-type, and an 87 grandnational that is completely stripped at the moment that i am building from the ground up. I feel slightly offended when people infer that i am going to destroy my precious car but when i get my 87 built, im going to use it to drag race and use the 86 for my cruising/sleeper/show car.

If you want to be offended then be offended, but this time of year we'll get quite a few newbys on the board. Those that won't listen and those that can't roll with the punches soon go away. Those that are able to survive and use their heads to learn how these cars work and keep them alive usually stick around to help others.;) Are we rough on the newbys? Just like any other board newbys have to learn how the board works, so stop being offended and start learning.:D

Back to our new member, now that you did up your sig, you have some good items on this car. Did you happen to log that issue with the Powerlogger? I don't see a Scanmaster listed. The Scanmaster will allow you to see knock and your narrow band milli volts real time right in your face so if you don't have one everyone will strongly suggest it. Back your boost down and hold off with spraying anything until you figure out what's going on.
