I just had my best time at the track 12.69 at 107 mph using a 23 degree chip.My question is would i benefit by going to a 26 degree chip.I was using 115 octane and no knock on 23 lbs of boost.Lousy 60 ft times 2.0 thanks John!

timming

Id say that depends , i went last week to the track to test my 26deg RA 009 chip , from the 21degRA009 chip i used in the past. I did three passes on the third pass i got 31.5 KR on my scanmaster , that got my attention quick . So i put back in my RA street chip , car MPHed at 110 with either so ??? It was quite hot and humid out though , i ran 25psi with c-16 gas . When it get colder out ill try it again mabe . I figured why push it . :p

I would first add a couple pounds of boost - one PSI at a time. If still no knock at 25 PSI then start walking up the timing in 1 degree increments.

If you are going to jump from 23 degrees of lead to 26 degrees, then I would come off the boost a bit, say 21 PSI, and walk it back up to be safe.
