121 mph on 20 psi with stock combo!

Wow why is everyone buying turbo's, intercoolers and other stuff when you can run 121+ with a stock combo on 20 psi in a full weight car?

It only takes good tuning!

I think he's just young and confuses easily.

Some people's idea of "stock" is a three bolt turbo and fully ported stock heads.

I also think if you get the tilt on the G-tech just right, you can run 8 second 1/4's in a honda civic.

Easy, I did that back in the 80's

I went 127 mph with a stock turbo and ic - I think that is when the stock computer with a Hypertech chip kills it (I believe it was C&D that said 127 limit on our cars but I know I have read that the limiter was a few MPH's less.

Oh, BTW, did I mention that this was done just after I hit the top of the mountain doing about 90 - 100, then went WOT down a huge, straight, open and empty highway, in an area with no on/off ramps or cross streets

Oh, did you mean 1/4 mile - Oh yeah, I did that too with just the addition of my JATO engine that I duct taped to my T-Tops

A couple locals think bone stock is..........steel main caps/studed bottom end/forged pistons and so on.................some people are lost in the clouds............cloud 9 that is.
These same people hardly go to the track, yet claim to have high 9 low 10 second cars.

Back to the subject at hand, the only thing worse than someone claiming their car runs better than it does is to have them telling YOU that YOUR car runs slower than it does. I had someone ask me once upon a time of my bone stock (not even a K&N) GN what it would run. I told him I'd never tracked it, but they're high 13.xx cars stock. He told me that 'those thing MIGHT run high 16.xxs'.
