Hey if you guys care at all I took the Trailbalzer SS to the track last Friday night and went a 13.98 @ 98.75 mph, bone stock. I know there are a couple of you fellas that may be interested.

This thread makes me sad.. that faster than my GN :(

Nice #'s for the family truxter. I would have been looking at one if I hadn't already bought my 92x in June. BTW, is that RWD or AWD?

Sorry for the dumb question but is this a new vehicle or something home made?
I don't follow new cars because it would be a tease to a person who can't afford one.

Can we have a photo posted.

its a new vehicle, 395 hp LS2, AWD or 2WD...

1/8 mile #'s please. A friend has one just like the silver one in the pic. I'm curious what it runs in the 1/8.

Thanks

Based on the 1/4 mile, it should run 8.9's, maybe a high 8.8 if it hooks.

Tried to buy one!

Saw a white TB SS at the dealer over a month ago---it looks great and sounds real nice, so I tried to talk the wife into trading in her 05 extended TB with straight 6, but her response was 40K  then promptly threw the cordless phone at me!!!

I went to the 1/8 with my new GMC (lbz-360hp 650 trq) ext cab dually with only 504 miles on it  & it went 9.91@67.68 mph, it weighs 7420 lbs.

Does it have some kind of traction control?

With that much power, spinning the tires should be pretty easy.

Hrmm.. now I know what my TB will do when it blows the inline 6 and I replace it with the V8. Muhahahha.

Keep dreamin gn85!

Those in line 6s are break proof. Real good designs--however I do remember seeing somebody....I think it was on this board who put a Turbo charged straight 6 in an old station wagon and he was makin 9 second passes with a lot of tune left in it! The wife said no to that idea too  . I gotta get rid of her!! :D

Actually, that doesn't surprise me. Smooth running motor. Haven't had, nor heard a lick of trouble out of it.

These trucks hook well. You really have to power brake it to get the tires to spin.

BTW. I ran my GN when it was stock and it also 9.0's so this truck is as fast as the GN's were in there day.

Wait until you can get a chip or box for it. 9.20's should be easy.....

I think one of the secrets of the engine is the variable cam timing. Ever look at the torque curve? It is flat and maxed out! Makes it get off the line pretty quick. Great engineering in that truck!
Guess I won't be racing at the stoplight.

I just got mine 2 days ago, black RWD. Ill wait til i get a couple thousand miles on it til i race it. But i got on it a little yesterday, and i was very impressed.

I had the traction control and stabilitrak turned off. One guy that has the Vector tune and K&N filter went 13.30's @ 105 I think. I know it was close to that but don't remember if it was the exact numbers.
