49990,Now how obvious they ran it to that number,I bet 50k meets reserve

It's already bid over $50K and has not hit reserve. The guy who bid $49999 also has a bid in for a higher amount. His last car, which had 100 miles or so sold for around $50K.

I have said this before. I am aware of a 1987 GN with 85 miles and plastic on the seats that sold for $35k and that was about 2 years ago.

I would love to know what someone would do with this $50,000 dollar GN??

Drive it? Modify it? Alky- Downpipe- Bigger Turbo?

This car is preserved. It's such a hard pill to swallow. Almost like a GNX...

Nice to look at... but what in the wide world of sports... can you do with it...... NOTHING.

IMHO it needs to be driven... not kept in a garage on jackstands.....

To each his own I guess.....

Its called ART, and when the value keeps going up you become a collector of art.

Since you dont have to do anything with art to make the value go up, its always nice to walk out the garage and look at art and admire.
You have seen my art....

:)

Take a picture of the car when new, frame it and hang it up. Then drive it. :D

Just kidding I know everything in the world is a matter of opinion, some people get their kicks by storing a car for 20 years.

Go buy a Monet (don't laugh... I really had to google it to make sure it was spelled correctly) if you want art!

BMW coined the slogan a turbo Buick should adopt.... "The Ulitmate Driving Machine"

Nice to look at but I agree about all the seals needing replacing.

Not only that but it looks like it still has the original black pressure switch on the powermaster.

But hey at least you can't argue that it is "not original".

Anyone notice that Q&A's at the bottom..somebody with a GNX is telling him he's an idiot somehow thinks the guys reserve is $200k ???

I say change the valve springs, all the other seals should be fine since its been at a constant temp...and take it for a drive just like you bought it off the show room floor back in '87 :D Would be great to buy it and show up with no trailer and tell the guy you're driving it home across country :D I did that with the '79 and '89 and both the sellers looked at me like I was crazy ...its a great feeling :)

This thing even made it to the Mustang sight I'm on. It is a beautiful car but damn what a waste.... Drive the dang thing.

Look at the bid history:rolleyes:
Yeah I didn't look at that before..looks like two guys bidding little by little...you know your max bid did not reach the reserve or it would have jumped right to the reserve price if it was lower than your max bid...so those bidders aren't serious bidding like that...unfortunately..one of them popped the bubble and met the reserve...if they were serious, now the bids would start flying...but I bet they cease now...at least between them 2.

Thats exactly right:cool:

Ended at $58,100............................ RIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Look at the last two bidder, Zero feedback and -1 feedback. I can see this car not being sold.
