#18153.....28.0/10.0-16 slicks

#17603.....28x11.50-16LT quick time pro DOT

#17325......P255/50R16 drag radial DOT

my frist question is has anyone run any of these tires; which one/s?

second question is will all those tires fit on a 16"x9.5" wheel?

third question is direct; has anyone run a 16" hoosier slick??

last question is not really a question, its a statement. Live free, live honestly, have respect for thy enemy, and try not to lie it makes you look stupid.

Hoosier slicks

I ran these last year:#18153.....28.0/10.0-16. They work great on an 11.00 car. The slicks were older but worked great. I have them mounted on GTA 16 X 8" wheels.

Have not tried Hoosiers at any time, but I'm very happy with my M&H 275/55/16 Drag radial on a set of GTA "fronts" which are 16x8. The sizes you list my be a little narrow for a 9.5" rim. Had I not gone with the M&H, my next choice was going to be the 28x11.5x16 QuickTime.

60' times were very similar between my 26x10.5x15 MT ET Drags and the M&H Drag radials. (1.71 vs. 1.78) Both off the foot brake.

I've bought three pairs of the hoosier slicks. Best 60ft was 1.48. I run them on 16 x 8 GTA's. I ran MT et street 28 x 12.50 x 16 before these (same size) & thought they were junk.

thanks for the replies guys,

I think the #18153.....28.0/10.0-16 slick, would come out to be like running a 275 I beleive, so it should work fine on my 9.5". I think a better question would be which is worth having; the 10" wide slick or the 11.5" wide drag radial; traction VS tire contact patch?
