160 thermostat do I drill it...if so where at???

Very top part where it will "vent" through the outlet bell.

You only need to drill it if your using an electric mezzeri pump without the factory bypass.

I gutted my tstat . Just kept the frame and removed the spring and valve . The frame alone can so it can slow it down enough I think . Works great

drill it at 12:00 as high as you can get it without being behind the boss in the intake manifold.

Sothe air pocket above the opening can disperse. It's a side effect of having a vertical mounted thermostat.
