Hey guys, just wanted to ask if any company sells GNX/GTA style wheels in 17x8 or 17x9 inch sizes, i really like the GNX wheels, and think that some 17 inchers would look pretty nice, and different.

Thanks for any info

I think it was Enkei or HRE that made them in the early 1990s. I may be wrong about the company name but they definitely existed. I saw them in an issue of Hot Rod on a GNX (or a look-a-like) back in the early 1990s. When I got my GN I called the company and they said they no longer made them. They said they had enough supplies left to make one more set of 16's though, if I was interested. I declined since I could just get GTA wheels from Classic Industries at that time in the same size and for less $$. Sure would be nice to see these made by some company again in the 17" size. As long as the pricing was not too far off of the Classic Industries price I would buy. Hope this helps.

GNX in Hot Rod

Yeah, I have that magazine, somewhere  . I believe that it was HRE who made those wheels. Man, did they look great  !!!

The Fiske wheels would be great but I contacted them about a 17x8 FM10 Rim and it was going to cost me over 800 per rim!

HRE's will run you the same if not more than Fikse. Sucks because they are gorgeous wheels, but seriously, who is going to drop 4,000 on a set of wheels? Ok, maybe I would, but I surely don't have the cash to be tossing away on wheels right now. So maybe we need to get in touch with a wheel manufacturer that can do this for decent money.
