Well I am back at the test fitting! This time in my new roles as a wheel and tire guru. We wrapped Gbodyparts 18x9 GNX wheel in a Nitto NT05R Drag Radial and put it on my car. Very nice fit, and could even lower the car an inch to settle at 26.5" from ground to center quarter fender lip. Next up to put a 255/40/18 with the same 18x9 on the front and see the results. This is the first of many results that I will be putting on the test mule. Ill be lowering the car quite significantly and raising it and testing fitment on all different tire sizes till I find a number of different combinations that look good. It's my understanding the wheels are almost here so I will be waiting on a full set of each to perform lowering and raising of the car to see results.

I do know the 18 drag on back looks badass.

Recommend min. rim is 9.5 for a 285/40-18

That is a big brake setup. I know on my wilwood 12" setup it was very close with the 16" GTA wheels. What part of the country you in?

Pics of the front and rear 18x9 with 255 40 18, makes me want to go adjust the rear coil overs now and lower it down, damn! And yes, I know I have the tires on the wrong side.....keep in mind, test fitting only.

18x9 in the rear position. If you look closely the 18x8 is on the front.

I sent the 3 samples that were at bates, 18x8, 18x9, 19x9.5
to Rick Elam @ Baer brakes,
he is determining what brake package will fit properly,
hopefully we will hear from him soon!
