18 x 9.5" wheels

Well, I got my wheels in today, and had the tires mounted. I have some "real life data" for anyone looking at wheels. With 9.5" wide wheels, 5" of backspacing with 275/35-18's fit PERFECT. Close to the frame, but not touching. 5.5" backspacing is just a TAD too much. I have to grind off a little metal on one frame for the tires not to touch. That will be done tomorrow. I will scan some pics tomorrow or Saturday and post them here. I LOVE the wheels/tires I got.

P.S. My tranny/converter is FINALLY getting shipped tomorrow. Bruce a PTS said it's all ready to go. And my intake SHOULD be in route although the tracking number I got doesn't work......

Here is a link to the rims I got. I think they look just a little different than the pic. I don't think there is as much space between the "spokes" as the pic has. The pic is probably 22" wheels or something.
