$3000 and it's yours -- link below. One day left.

Tired of having to explain this car to people on Craigslist (or here, for that matter).

The first Regal T-Type. The only one with a carb. They made 3500 of them, and since they're not popular for hodrodding like 84 and later models, almost impossible to find.

Please, spread the word. My wife wants the thing out of here. I have a local buyer but I don't want to do the half-day haggling shotgun wedding.

VIN 1G4AK4786DH966969
76,000 miles. Second owner, has been in the family for 25 years. Clean title.

Stock and original. No, really. Original wheels, original engine, original radio, original upholstery. Zero modifications, zero reproduction parts.

One rear fender dent, fixed but not painted to match. Cosmetic plastic around front bumper cracked with age (visible in pictures).

Runs, but has been in storage for 9 years and needs a tune-up (clean fuel system, etc.).

2750 reserve, 3000 buy now:

Am I completely out of range, is there just no interest in 83s, something else or any random combination?
I paid 1000.00 for mine. cost about 500.00 to get up. I put 1000.00 into wheels and tires but mine is not running. mine is also a 81

True, it's the only Regal T-Type with a carb. Not so good for tuning perhaps, but as the first and only it should be fairly collectible.

I've got it on e-bay for $3K buy-now -- my wife wants it GONE.

I just noticed that the vin is not right for a turbo car. All turbo buicks 78-83 have a 3 to identify the turbo engine. Yours has a 8 instead. Nice car though not very desirable unless a 86-87 drivetrain was installed.

Please please let me know where you got that information from.

So between this and Carfax:

It is a legit T-Type, it is an 1983, and a T-Type (which in 1983 means Turbo, says... everyone) from the factory. But that 8 is nuts. That decoder page has nothing like it but it's right there in the window. I'll try the RPOs when the sun is up.

So by the way: I have a tentative and remote buyer lined up for $2500, but it's going to take forever. Anyone who shows up with $2500 cash and a trailer on Monday will leave with our unique little runt and title. I will now try to nap for an hour or two before work.

Look in a chiltons manual also check the before black registry. I own a 1981 and it as a 3 for the turbo motor. You can also run a carfax on it.
