My History with this car - I just bought it.
The worst purchase that i have ever made -price and condition.
score 1 to 10, TEN = excellent and ONE = part it out, this car scores a -10 Not kidding.
But me being the dumb ass that i am - time to move forward.
Since this car needs every thing i am going over kill in some areas. (Doing things twice is way more expensive than over doing it once)
I am looking for advice, opinions and ideas on how things should be done.
In some cases i might take your advice (thank you) in other cases i might just need to learn the lesson for my self But still thank you.
About the car.
The car is a 1986 WH1 That was passed as a GN.
It needs an interior - it has part of a GN interior.
the car also had a fuel cell that was removed, So it will need fuel lines.
The battery was also relocated into the trunk but the wiring job looks like crap. I am still debating weather to leave it in the trunk or not.
The dash board wiring looks like a butchered rats nest.
the HVAC system looks like it was just thrown in for sale purposes. So that has to come back out and get all new seals and everything else.
Engine harness is also all chopped up.
the windshield is cracked.
Whats good about the car??? the new GN carpet
Yes there's a sucker born every day and i was born the day i bought this POS can you say embarrassing? absolutely
I am going to start with the body bushings and work my way around the frame then move on to the fuel system and so on.
From a quick search the OE rubber type body bushings are seriously over priced.
So before i continue to throw away more money.
Any one use the "Energy Suspension Polyurethane" bushings?
