1987 Buick Grand National - $59,000 (OBO)

500 miles on pro-built 700 horsepower 3.8L.

Best of the best, too much to list on motor. Art car transmission.

34 spline axles, alborne posi. C-clip eliminators.

Aluminum buick GN-1 heads, 70 series ball bearing turbo, duttweiler intercooler.

$20,000 body and paint restoration just completed.

This car on race fuel can make 900 horsepower.

4 link billet aluminum adjusted rear suspension.

Fully loaded, everything works perfectly. Much more to list. Must see to believe this car, you will not find a nicer one out there.

FYI, I am posting this on behalf of a very good family friend and so will direct all inquiries/questions to him. Thank you!!

You just joined today & 1 hr later, you are advertising another person's car?
Why hasn't the owner joined?
Where is this car located?
How many miles on it?

👀

The owner barely knows how to text. He's an oldschool car guy. I am his best friends son, who helped take pictures (on my iphone) and put it on this forum and others as a favor to him. Just trying to help a friend (as he's helping me find my dad a 70 Chevelle I can buy him as a surprise - these cars are not my specialty). Any inquiries will be directed to him (by calling him). Just trying to do a good deed, hopefully it goes unpunished :)

Edit to be responsive to your edit: The car is located in Manhasset, NY (Long Island). I'll get back to you on miles, but when he wrote the description he just said the new engine had 500 miles on it.

Just bumping here, and also noting that he confirmed the whole rebuild (and paint, everything, etc.) is ~500 miles. thanks!

You gotta tell people what’s inside that motor and who built it here in NY if you want any interest.

I'm only 15 miles from there i can always put eyes on it if any out of town members are really interested.

turbo people was a specialty shop in the 90's thru the 2000's...in hastings on the hudson...owner was job or jobe. a lot of turbo buick guys went there.some friends of mine in the bronx were good friends with them. I saw the son who was 16 years old run an 87 white turbo t at english town back in the day. it ran pretty good. this was a long time ago...haven't heard about them in a long time.
