I purchased this car in October 2009 for $5,500 as a project car. It's a little dogged out from the previous owner but still looks pretty good inside and out. Power windows/locks/trunk release all work. Factory tach and boost gauge work with no dead LEDs. My intentions were to fix it up and use it as a daily driver. Unfortunatly my current daily driver was hit and totalled so I've decided to sell it. I've driven it around and put only 2,000 miles on it. It's got just under 103,000 miles on it now.

I want to be as honest as I can so here's what needs work:
-The T-Tops Leak
-Floorboards rusted through a little on drivers side (from T-top leak)
-Rusted through on rear quater panels (Covered by fender flares)
-A Bumper Filler is cracked
-Brake light flashes on while braking
-Engine makes no boost
-Battery drains after two days of sitting
-Drivers seat mounting bracket broken (Needs Welding)
-Passenger side mirror adjust doesn't work

Parts included:
-Car has Built in Radar Detector
-Genuine GM Weatherstripping
-Car Cover
-Replacement Electric Drivers Seat Track
-Original T-top Covers/Bags

Here's some pictures from the date of delivery. I will try to post more in the coming week. Maybe I'll get some time to fix it up a little more before it sells.

Thanks for your interest.

More Pictures

I had some time to give it a quick wash and take some better pictures.

A few good things I forgot to mention:

-Cat back Exhaust (Previous Owner)
-I suspect a newer rebuilt 200-4R Transmission (Shifts are firm)

The bad...

Here's a few shots of the cosmetic defects. The car show well but is not exactly in showroon condition.

Other problems I'd forgot to mention:

-Shifter plate/gate? whatever you call it is missing. You can shift without using the shifter button. I have one from my turbo T that I am willing to give up if you are interested.
-A/C Is not working. Clutch does not seem to be engaging. (I thought this used to work?)
-Passenger side window is slow.
-Engine has some rattles (passenger side quater panel/gas shock mount & accesory belt area

Thanks again...

Here's the last "bad stuff" picture (driver's side flooboard).

I've had some people contact me already expressing interest in the car already so thank you guys for looking. Also I will take any reasonable offers and I'd also be willing to ship the car at the buyer's expense. I can drive it to your door within a reasonable distance once you've decided you will buy the car.

Chip & Parts

FYI: The car had an ATR Pitbull chip installed when it was purchased. It now has my stock 87 Turbo T Chip in it. Both chips will be going to the buyer.

A few things fixed...

The Seat bracket and the floorboards have been repaired! Feel free to make me an offer.

Just saw your ad......

You definately posted the good and the bad.....

I recognize some of our parts on your car.......I can't be that far away form you.....

email me denniskirban@yahoo.com your phone number if you fail to sell it we may be able to make a deal as I buy project cars for parts and have truck & trailer.

I can't be sure in the photo but are the T Tops factory GM? On the trunk ID label does it state CC1 for the tops?

Again I m like a last resort...

Looks like a dealer installed set off hand Dennis, I would be interesting to see what it looks like under those flares.

Sorry for the delay...

hi everyone,

Sorry for slacking on the replies. I'll try to get back to everyone in turn.

Few updates:

1.) Brakes are fixed
What started out as a brake bleed and shoe/pad replacement turned to an overhaul of most of the brake system due to some siezed up bleeders and brake lines. Installed ceramic shoes/pads, both S10 manual wheel cylinders, both rear brake lines from cylinder to rear brake line splitter block, and both front calipers. Brake light still came on after bleeding so I swapped the accumulator for a known good one and the problem was solved. Stops like a champ now.

2.) The car is also now posted on craigslist. I'll still give forum members priority over craigslist just because I'd rather see it go to someone who knows and cares about these cars.
