Ouch, that hurt, Jim. Gary Wells pegged this red-headed step child GN from the get-go. And I am not saying that was not, is not, nor at any point in the future worth the money it sold or will sell for at any one particular time, it just had too much baggage history for even me. Way too many "red ticket" baggage claims on that thing.ok I'm lost. Someone needs to explain to me why this car keeps getting a new owner and sold again on ebay almost right away!![]()

eBay Motors: Buick : Grand National (item 280178628802 end time Dec-09-07 19:30:00 PST)
So was first sold from Cali to someone in NY and then it seems to IL and now it's off again! were up to 5 owners now. lol Seems some miles are being put on it from it going from car carrier to car carrier! I wonder if there is something wrong with it and the new owners are just flipping it? Don't seem like anyone is making money on it either when they flip it.At least this current owner looks like he painted that chipped up rocker panel on the passenger side. Maybe folks just want to drive a low mile car around for a few days and they are over it. Gary Wells loves this car!

As far as the car, I don't see anything wrong with it besides the mysterious paint peel below the door that the current owner has now fixed. Now the story the first guy had in this thread makes you wonder... so what is the red tagged baggage for any current shoppers? Not to mention that everyone thought this was a $30k+ car in the beginning and now it has sold twice for far less both times.Ouch, that hurt, Jim. Another "too good to be true" turbo Buicks floating around on the internet somewhere for sale too. I will E-mail it too you for a good laugh if I can find it.
Fwiw, This might be the bargin of the century, but for me it has too much short term history, too many owners have owned for too little of a period of time. Could be just happenstance, but I am doubtful. We'll see. How many of the buyers/owners of this car have had the opportunity to either view the car in person and / or drive the car prior to purchase? As far as the car, I don't see anything wrong with it besides the mysterious paint peel below the door that the current owner has now fixed. i wouldn't touch that car with a ten foot pole, even with the 5K miles..
looks like someone is going to make a little $$ on the car now, up to $25k...
But I did notice a RED FLAG in the pics for only a 5k mile car, the paint is worn off the column from the keys dangling against it. Mine has 54k and the paint is still on there with hardly a scratch and my keychain emblem dangles against it.
The bottom does have a texture not a paint to protect rock chips. Also if undercoated done in 2 colors.Hey if you want right. Kirban called me 2 tears ago.Told him about undercoat."I'll be up with the money. Wasn't for sale.
Never in rain if you know laquer oils keep them form drying.Be happy to help any one.![]()
