I'm sorry to sound like a cheap bastard, but I don't have a Carfax account and would like some info on this 1993 Trans Am. The VIN # is 2G2FV22P8P2201465.

Also, the guy claims it has 350 HP. Can anyone tell this is true by the following mods? Also, the guy never ran it in the 1/4 mile. Anyone have a guess on what it would do with a good driver? Yes, it is a 6 speed.

Features: CD Player, Cruise Control, Bucket Seats, Tinted Glass, Remote Keyless Entry, Anti-Lock Brakes, Airbag: Driver, Airbag: Passenger, Power Windows, Power Locks, Leather Interior, Rear Window Defroster, Alarm, A/C: Front, Power Steering, Alloy Wheels, Fog Lights, Premium Sound

Additional Selling Points: 350 Horses Modified Trans Am rebuild Engine with only 21k miles on it. A lot of performance parts to list: Stainless steel Borla Exhaust (catback) Straight pipes Chrome Cold Air Induction K&N JetPerformance Computer Chip 2' Lowering Eibach Springs Crossed Drilled Rotors 4 good year Eagles 245 45 16' 75% left Custom Horn and Much More in addition car comes with a complete system new Pioneer radio, new Pioneer speakers and 2 Subs '10 Car has absolutely no problems got to see it!

It really depends on what he did when he rebuilt the engine. But if he rebuilt it to stock specs, those cars came with 275 hp. With a borla, cold air induction and a computer chip, I'd say it's picked up maybe another 40+/- hp.

I bought a 97 TA, 6M brand new and they had 285hp stock. I ran 14.3 bone stock and pretty sure with a little more practice I could've ran a 14.1-14.2. I don't have that car now, but I do have a 94 Formula 4A and have got similar mods to the 93 you're looking at.

My car ran a 13.5 with the following mods:
Moroso CAI, airfoil, 1LE bellow, 160^ stat, S10 converter, transgo shift kit, 3.42 gears, flowmaster muffler, Hypertech Programmer

I'd guess that the 93 you're looking at would run between a 13.7-14.0 with an average driver.

Thanks for the info. So, would ya say it looks a little rough after reading that report? This guy claimed he was the second owner. Anyway, see ya at the E-Town Swap Meet. :)

Terence,

What is the asking price?

I see on carfax that it was involved in an accident...Was the whole car repainted, or just a few panels?

If you are local...Insist on putting it in the air to check the subrame's.

It sold 2 times within a 6 month period at one Auction....that usually dosen't happen too often.

One thing that most people forget...You are looking to buy a car....NOT a paintjob!

Hope This Helps,

I checked it out but saw no signs of damage. I will find out to what extent the accident was. The owner said he was the second owner. He was asking $5,500.
