2.2 Chip in ScanMaster question

Can I run a 2.2 chip in my scanmaster WITHOUT running a power logger ? It has the 2.1 chip in it now

No. The 2.2 chip is used to get a faster update rate thru the power logger. It isn’t connected to the ALDL with the 2.2 chip.
