What is the best way to lower the 2-3 part throttle shift point without effecting the 1-2 or 3-4. no matter what I do with the governor as soon as I give it any more then about a 1/2 inch of peddle it wants to hold it till 2800-3000 in 2nd before seeing 3rd and if I set the TV for earlier shifts then it does not have enough pull on the cable for full throttle. I was thinking there is something in the valve body that controls this? Thanks again

adjusting the tv cable to the max (reset) setting, and then taking out a click or two will not hurt, if thats what you need to do to get the shift point you want then your fine.

Yeah I backed it a notch out and I also found a plunger bushing from a 83 325-4L laying around my house (mine is an 84 in my car) that has the little holes that open up the TV pressure to the P.T paths in the bushing a little sooner with less throttle, the holes in the bushing that runs to the line bias is in the same location but it dont matter because my line bias valve is locked into place anyway. So basicaly my trans thinks it floored sooner and my T.V is backed down one notch with a slightly more progressive T.V plunger spring at the same lenth, the overall is nice low RPM shifts at little peddle with a very progressive change in T.V as I feed into the peddle for stiffer shifts and higher RPMs with more peddle, sees max RPM hold and shift with the peddle lightly placed to the floor. Good Deal:cool: I happy again:cool: Thanks! Oh one more thing in the last few days my car has been breaking traction shifting from 1st to 2nd WOT everytime where it used to only break loose sometimes, is it normal for a trans to get stiffer for no reason sometimes for could the stiffer plunger spring had something to do with this, its wierd I just didnt expect this but I ant complaining at all, It sounds cool and its crazy on a front wheel driver lol. Theres not too many E bodys ripping tires into 2nd you know;)
