2 million per episode. Whats wrong here?

i like that show.. but lately it has been kind of slipping in quality like Married with Children did in the last few seasons.
i can't see them squeezing 2 more seasons out of it.

but if you think Charlie is getting paid too much, then don't watch it. that's what i do for all those over paid athletes.

While great in the early years, it ain't what it once was. I still tune in but mostly because Rules of Engagement and Big Bang Theory are on the same night.

I gotta admit that show is pretty dam funny but $2 mill per episode funny? Dont know about that. That's probably what Seinfield got at one time tho.

i wonder what kind of a cut Charlie gets out of the syndication? it is on at least 2 local channels and at least a few basic cable channels. it's almost as hard to avoid as Friends and Seinfeld were a few years ago.

I think the average person may think it's high, but didn't Kelsey Grammer get something like 1 million per episode of Frasier back in 2000? Besides, the networks make many times over that 2 million.
I like the show myself. Some good lines.

now now.. there's no need to be bringing professional athletes into this conversation.

yeah, but even the bad quality got worse towards the end when they started having more and more of the show take place somewhere besides the Bundy living room and the writers thought they needed actual plots like a "real" tv show would have..

If you take away the commercials, the show is about 22 minutes long. I see it more of a reality show since thats pretty much on par with his real life. 2 mill. per show though! Sheez, I need to quit my day job.

the betty ford clinic isn't cheap you know, plus he'll be there for sex and drug rehab so it'll be a double whammy. bet jon cryer and the kid are happy about it, heck jon cryer hasn't had a job since the late 80's if i remember correctly but then again he may have done some straight to dvd movies i bypassed.

Jon Cryer was in at least one of the Hot Shots! movies with Charlie Sheen.. i think he was a radio operator in mission control or something like that in the the second one.
