1. Something with a lid, O-ring sealed instead of gasket in both places, valvecover-to-head and lid-to-cover. This would allow removal of the lid to check valvetrain adjustments without removal of the valvecover. You could also run the engine with the lid off during diagnostics.
2. What every hot rod guy wants today, a self-learning aftermarket ECM (plug and play). I know things are headed this way and whoever figures this out will get filthy rich. This deal would tickle the knock sensor to figure out the max boost, adjust timing for max power, injector duty cycle self adjusts for perfect mixture etc.
