2 service engine lights?

87 gn has 2 ses lights? My 86 has one?

Not very good one. But that's it on the left its dimmer than the one on the right

On my 87 the lights on the left top to bottom are.....

Oil/Choke
Volts
Water Temp
Brake
Fasten Belt
Left turn indicator
Low Fuel

And the ones on the right are...

Security
Washer Fluid
Car is Leveling
Service Engine Soon
Power Injection
Right turn indicator
Cruise

i'd be willing to bet that it didn't leave the factory with 2 check engine lights

most likely you have the wrong lens on the left, and your "volts" light is on.

That would be my guess. Since volts is the second one down, and on his the second one is the mystery SES

shine a flashlight on them with key off, and they're easy to read. What do the one's on the right side say?

Yes that's some homemade junk. It came from a Buick it's has the boost gauge

Ha. Slow as Christmas compared to my 86. He wants to sell. If I get it will leave it stock.

no, it has 70K ...... its a 2 owner car... 2 owner has had it for 15 years (sat for 10 of those) when he bought it it had a aftermarket or possible homemade GNX style dash in it.... this dash was in the trunk of car, he asked me to swap them out for him..... we can only assume the original owner swapped them

anyway, I figured this was not correct.

I was thinking the left side idiot lights looked like the kenne bell gnx dash i have in my gn. The right side idiot lights were removed on my dash and a new plastic piece was installed over the lights on the left for the repositioned lights.
