I recently rebuilt my first automatic transmission. The 200-4r shifts fine when accelerating fairly fast however, it shift rather harsh when going slow as well. What do I need to do to alleviate this? Also, when I come to a stop it downshifts rather hard as well. I do remember reading this was somewhat of a problem with the 200-4r transmissions. With the V-6 and the 200 Metric out of the way I can at least spin the tires a little. The shift kit used was a TRANSGO SHIFT KIT, 200-4R-HD2, a CK Performance Billet Servo, NOS Seperator Plate for the Grand National, Transmission is a CZ from a Monte Carlo, Rebuilt Direct Drum, Extra Wide Red Alto Band, All new Red Eagle Clutches, 10 vane pump, and modified 4th Gear Piston for additional clutch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TJ,
Sorry, I don't know. You probably need to move or repost this
in the "TECH ARENA - Transmission Talk" section.
There's some very knowledgeable members that could help you over there.
