If the governor cover gasket is broken what symptoms will be in shifting ?

If it has a leak on the governor circuit it will have a late or no shift.

Governor pressure is fed through the case to the cover and the gasket is critical to sealing that area.

It depends on where the gasket is broken. If in the outer circle area, no effect. If it is in the governor pressure passage, then you will have late or no shifts depending on size of leak.
