2004r stopped moving

Was driving my car today and got on it pretty good heard a pop and the engine died. Started it back up and it won't engage in any gear. What do you think broke? I was thinking maybe a sun gear or a sprag. What do you think. Thanks

Forward clutch drum shaft. Very common. Get a billet or at least a hardened one.

What Jer said^^^^^^^^^. Or, the splines are eaten off. Also common. With the noise, it's most likely the first issue.

If you R doing it yourself, I'd call one of the sponsor vendors and ask what they think U should install....

Def forward clutch drum. Just happened to me a few months ago. Call ck performance they will hook you up. They have a stage 3 billet trans kit that they don't show on the website then I had Vince Janis install it.
