Funny how ya just can't please everybody...

Want to please me? Give me a car that can match my GN in looks, mileage, and performance. No one's done it yet (mostly because Corvette's just don't turn me on, and so fail in the looks department. Same thing with the new GTO). I thought the Challenger would be that car, but apparently it's not. If it was 600 lbs lighter, there's a good chance that it would be. Judging from the pics I've seen, it has the looks part of the equation totally taken care of.

If my aunt had a pecker she'd be my uncle.

Every vehicle ever built has flaws. Is a Lexus a better built vehicle? Prolly.

Will that car ever generate the excitement the Challenger has...?Prolly not.

Example: Does Harley make the "best" motorcycle? Most people would say no.

Do people get "honda goldwing" , "yamaha v-star" tattooed on their bodies? I've never seen that. I've seen a million "HD" tattoos.


Just because a third party calls it the "best quality" or whatever...doesn't mean that its the most desireable.

How much over sticker will they get for that Lex?

I wish none of the dealers had bumped the price of these things. Greed is an ugly thing. Crazy part is....people are GLAD to pay it. I doubt a Lexus dealer has ever had that problem.

dammm... this thread is still goin Like Chris said whats the big deal ??? IF ya want it its there for X amount of $$$ .. don't want to pay ya don't get it.. Not the end of the world to some BUT others NEED it .. So what Hell I wanted the new Ford GT and the new Shelby GT 500 and now the Challenger.. Hell I want EVERYTHING!! BUT I don't "need" it THAT bad so I work on an old Mazda Why compare it to an old GN ?? GN was yesterday and yesterday is gone :biggrin:

Lexus' are Toyotas with woodgrain trim. They figured out how to bilk an extra $10K out of their customers with ease. Sucker, haha.
