2009 BOPC event at Gainesville Raceway.

Went to the BOPC event today at Gainesville and because of the bad weather we had yesterday the event got postponed until today and I think for this reason the turnout was pretty poor especially for the Turbo Regals as there was only a total of 5 today. Anyhow, we still managed to have a good time as the weather was really nice and for those that missed it you missed some really cool air as it was in the mid to high 50's all day today and you could've made a lot of passes cause the car count was low. Still a pretty good amount of old Pontiac and Olds muscle cars and a few LS1 powered Poncho's. Got a few vids of the two Turbo Regals that raced and some pics of what was there. The next one is February 13th 2010 and hopefully the weather and car count will be much better.

Very nice pictures.

The weather was chilly all day and the wind never let up. I hope next year will be better turn out also. I am sure the rain out completely spoiled many plans and could not make it out today. I plan to have the T ready for Feb. I have had just too much going on to be ready to run it today, so a nice drive in the Suncoupe I went with my son to show support for the Buick community.

That Riv was absolutely beautiful.

Now I need to get my buddy with an 86 Regal WH1 to get off the pot... He will be out there in Feb also... LOL
