Just installed my new engine and the transmission and noticed the outputshaft have plenty of up/down/right/left play (maybe 5-10 mm or so) but no in/out play is this normal?

Looked at the transmission diagram I got and there's no end shaft bearings etc so I take it the play is normal but thought I'll ask before I fill it up with new fluid ....

The yoke and rear bushing support the shaft. There should be a little endplay which you wont be able to easily measure with the output assembly installed.

Thx guys, I thought it would be normal but with my luck you never know so thought I'll ask ;) Can sleep better now
