2012 GS National anyone?

Anyone going this year? I'm planning on attending and was wondering if anyone else is thinking about going.

The title was supposed to read "2012 GS Nationals" but I fat fingered it and don't know how to change it. So back to the question, is anyone thinking about making the trek out to KY? Should be a better time of the year for racing than in May. I'm trying to twist Rick Elam's arm to see if he'll go. It would be cool if some other guys from the Southwest wanted to go.

I'm flying out there to watch my buddy race his car. I did drive once and I can tell you it's a long way from So. Cal.

You're a die hard! I've only been there 3 times so far. I wish I lived closer it's a great venue with some good folks too! I don't think there is a more scenic dragstrip in the rest of the country. I'm sure this year will be a blast.

My flights cost me a bit more than I expected so I know what you mean. I thought the rental car and hotel were pretty reasonable though.
