This car is getting a lot of press and really looks pretty nice. Ford is making some nice product. It has a special track key, that if you use it to start the engine, it changes some parameters and cam lope. Pretty cool. Not a big fan of the red color combo though. 444HP, 1.03 on the skid pad and 12.3 1/4 mile. $47,000 MSRP. This thing looks like it could do some damage. Good job Ford.

I know of a car back in the 80's that cost around $18K that was 12.3 capable. :biggrin:

Damm.. No way could I drive around in something like that. If ya painted it in a normal color HELL YA !! Those new GT350's are the fastest for a stocker..12.0s @ 121 .. A few more mods an it would kill a lot of the Buicks around here

auto is the only way I would go. IF Ford didn't offer it in the car I would MAKE it

Those cars are pretty sick. The new 5.0 is nasty and has tons of potential. People have already been running 9's with stock motors (with a few mods)and trannys. Ford is doing a great job with the Mustang. Hopefully GM steps it up with the new ZL-1 Camaro.

That is the laguna seca model,the regular boss 302 is toned down some.
It has the same drive train,but no red wheels or front splitter,less suspension etc.+ about $7000 less.

I watched the making of this car on speed it was pretty cool, not bad for a blue oval car.

CHICAGO — At this week's 2011 Chicago Auto Show, Shelby American pulled the wraps off the 2012 Shelby GT350, which is being offered in a new convertible version for the first time since 1970. Total production of the 2012 GT350 will be limited to 350 units.

Shelby said the basic hardware package is being carried over from the 2011 GT350. Engine choices include a normally aspirated V8 rated at 430 horsepower, as well as supercharged variants that deliver 525 and 624 hp, respectively.

Prices start at $26,995 for the normally aspirated GT350 and $33,995 for the supercharged, not including the cost of the Ford Mustang GT on which the conversion is based.

Color combinations for 2012 include Performance White with blue Le Mans stripes, Race Red with white Le Mans stripes and Kona Blue with white Le Mans stripes. Red and blue are new colors for 2012.

Inside Line says: Add $29,995 for the base 2012 Mustang GT coupe or $34,995 for the convertible. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

I was reading a Shelby mag an they said no converts !! If they do it maybe time to jump back on the Shelby boat
