3.8L Turbo V6

I've got what I believe to be a 1979 complete motor with turbo for sale. I bought it a few years back to someday put in my CJ when its I258 dies but its still going strong . At any rate, I bought the motor without a lot of thought because it was clean and complete. After I got it home I started to notice some really good stuff.

-the oil filter is factory blue, same as the block
-the oil is clean and clear
-the exhaust manifolds are completely free of oxidation
-the plugs have been fired but are like new
-pulling the valve cover, the heads are totally clean
-the 4 barrel carb is clean
-everything is CLEAN
-turbo spins freely
-flexplate is clean and has no visible wear

I never saw this motor in a vehicle. This was one of two 3.8 motors that came from an old timers shop who had passed on. I believe it to be a crate motor or one that was pulled with less than 2k. Motor, turbo, knock sensor, and carb are complete minus accessories and brackets. Located in Peoria AZ but I will consider delivery if nearby ($.50 per mile). I can't find any others in this condition for sale so its hard to judge its value - but I think I'll take $1000 obo for it.

Thanks for the look Tom. Do you have the turbo control center? I'd love to have the engine but it's for a Riveara FWD car. The intake is basically usless for RWD cars. The valve in front of the EGR valve I could also use. If you want to sell these 2 items I'd like to get a price from you please.

Thanks, but I'd like to keep this motor complete. If I don't find a buyer I'll swap it in my Jeep eventually.
