3" DP and no wastegate actuator

Ive noticed a few guys run a DP with the wastegate hole sealed and no stock wastegate actuator.

How do you manage boost control? Is there an external wastegate i'm not seeing? Or is a boost controller enough?

Turbo6x2 had a 3" DP like this in a recent picture. How do i get my hands on one of those? Are they going to start making them? Id really want a 3" DP designed with no AC box for maximum clearance and flow.

these dp setups are controlled via external wastegate or deltagate. they are mounted on the crossover. i have seen some setup where there mounted on the up-pipe but i have only seen a few that way. i hope by the end of this year that i will have my mease 3 ich dp for sale. wont be cheap but you wont find one on the board that often. As far as Jamie "Turbo6X2" i dont think she is ever going to make these. If you want one like that your better of getting one made or waiting on the board till you find one come up. i have had several dp's on my car and one that uses a external gate like hers. it was a LT dp but i sold it years back. I have never had a problem running the stock wastegate so i see no need for this type setup. it wont hurt going to a setup like hers but theres nothing wrong with a 3 in dp with internal gate. thats just my .02

i have a lower half 3 in dp for sale and you will have to do the top half
on your own
it comes from the convertor up to around the top of the ac box

I actually can be a help here. I am running a TA33C turbo which flows double the stocker with the same housing. This means the exhaust system does not have to bigger than 2 1/2 inch. The real problem after putting on a 2 1/2exhaust and eliminating the cat is the downpipe. I had a custom built 2 1/2 downpipe ( no stinking 2 inch turbo elbow)built and it open pandoras box. (real HP increase). Not cheap either. Take care- Brad
